Ever had a twist top glass beer bottle that just wouldn’t open and felt like it was shredding your hand? When this happens I ussually just grab a towel or the bottom of my shirt if it is an old and ratty one I don’t mind shredding, sometimes this isn’t an option. This video tip from CHOW helps solve that problem -with your forearm.

If I can’t twist, I’ll use my churchkey. It’s on the keychain in my pocket anyway.

Pretty much the only time I would be without my keys or knife would be if I were ath the beach, and then I should have a towel – but still a neat trick.

There’s always the counter or lighter trick…This one is kind of freaky though. I wouldn’t try it, but I’m pretty much a weakling.
